When can I weigh in?Weigh ins open as soon as the event doors open. You can weigh in anytime up until 60 minutes prior to your division start time. i.e. if your division is scheduled to start at 2PM, you can weigh in anytime before 1PM. Please keep in mind that your division start time may change throughout the day and you should keep up to date with it on the event page’s Brackets and Schedule tab.

Can I weigh in under my weight class limit?You can weigh in at any weight as long as it is UNDER the weight class limit. Example: You can weigh in at 134 lbs for the -155 lbs division but you can not weigh in at 157 lbs

What happens if I miss weight?For all adult divisions, if you are over your weight class limit on event day, you will be disqualified with no exception. For all kids divisions, if a competitor is over the weight class limit, we will make an attempt to merge them into a higher weight class as a gesture of good faith. If this is not possible, we will issue a coupon credit to a future event.

Is there a weight allowance?There is a 1.0lb weight allowance for all Adult divisions. There is a 2.0lb weight allowance for all Kids divisions. Any weight over these allowances will result in missing weight.

Can I weigh in the night before?Weigh-ins at all Grappling Industries events are only on the day of the event. Day before weigh-ins are NOT available. Weigh-ins start as soon as the event doors open.

Do I have to weigh in with my Gi on?You are not required to weigh in with a Gi or NoGi uniform on.

Do I have to weigh in if I'm in an "Over" or absolute division?If you are in an "Over" division such as "Over 230 lbs" or the absolute division, we ask that you still check in at the weigh in table in order to finalize your check in.
